About the role

We are seeking an experienced SMSF Senior Accountant / Manager to join our team at Level One Business & Financial Advisers' in Wollongong, NSW. This is a part-time position that will see you providing high-quality financial and accounting services to our clients with self-managed superannuation funds (SMSFs).

What you'll be doing

• Provide strategic advice and comprehensive accounting services to SMSF clients
• Prepare annual financial statements, tax returns, and regulatory reporting for SMSFs
• Conduct SMSF audits and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations
• Collaborate with financial advisers to deliver integrated advice to SMSF trustees
• Stay up-to-date with changes in SMSF legislation and communicate these to clients
• Mentor and develop more junior members of the SMSF accounting team

What we're looking for

• 8+ years of experience in SMSF accounting and advisory services
• Strong technical knowledge of superannuation and taxation legislation
• Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
• Proven ability to work autonomously and manage a portfolio of SMSF clients
• CA or CPA qualified with a good understanding of the accounting industry
• Experience in leading and mentoring a team of SMSF accountants
