About the role

We are looking for a Warehouse Storeperson to join our team. If you are looking to be part of a growing business, then this role may be for you.

Responsibilities may include:

• Load and unload vehicles ensuring checklists are completed and information recorded is accurate
• Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction by regularly inspecting products for signs of damage, infestation or other quality control requirements
• Prepare and pack orders for both customer and production staff and assist in packing when requested
• To ensure a safe working environment is maintained at all times
• Participate in and ensure accuracy of stocktaking activities
• High level of picking accuracy and ensuring FEFO is maintained
• Ensure correct storage requirements are adhered to, which includes specific temperature and allergen storage requirements
• Ensure the correct tracking of batch and production information in the warehouse.
• Coordinate and perform cleaning activities of warehouse and associated areas
• Assist production in clearing of production waste when needed
• Maintain an orderly, clean and efficient warehouse at all times

Essential knowledge and experience required

• Can do attitude
• Pallet Jack experience would be an advantage
• Knowledge of Work Health and Safety and Food Hygiene requirements would be beneficial
• Excellent communication
• Task and time management skills
• Able to pass pre-employment medical

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.00 – $27.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift

Supplementary Pay:

• Overtime pay
