About the role:

This full-time role will work closely with managers and the HR department to ensure best practices in rostering while maintaining compliance with budgets, qualifications, and employment agreements. Additionally, you will play a key role in coordinating training and supporting basic payroll functions, such as time-sheet approvals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and publish roster templates in line with company policies.
  • Monitor and manage attendance, absenteeism, and unplanned absences to ensure adequate staffing levels.
  • Ensure compliance with workforce qualifications, employment agreements, and workplace conditions.
  • Coordinate workforce training and development schedules.
  • Support HR and Finance teams with payroll-related tasks as needed.
  • Assist in reporting, workforce trend analysis, and insights.
  • Develop and maintain policies, procedures, letters, and relevant documentation.
  • Investigate and reconcile variances between rosters, time-sheets, and payroll.

What You'll Need to Succeed:
  • Experience in rostering or scheduling, ideally within aged care or the health sector.
  • Strong knowledge of employment awards and their application in rostering.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and alignment with organisational values.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent interpersonal abilities.
  • A proactive team player with the ability to work independently.
