About the role

GMHS' is seeking experienced Carpenters & Builders to join our team in Epping, VIC. As a fulltime Carpenter & Builder, you will be responsible for the construction and management of various building projects, working closely with our clients to deliver high-quality results.

What you'll be doing

• Constructing new buildings and structures from the ground up
• Performing renovations, repairs, and maintenance on existing buildings
• Managing project costs and ensuring delivery to budget, including procurement and cost controls of materials
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and specifications
• Collaborating with other tradespeople, such as electricians and plumbers
• Ensuring work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards
• Proactively driving our commitment to safety

What we're looking for

• Formal qualifications in Carpentry or a related Building Trade
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Carpenter or Builder
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical plans and drawings
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations
• Strong IT capabilities
