Head of Engineering - Hybrid

We are looking for a Head of Engineering, for a leading SaaS Product company in Sydney to lead the engineering team and drive their technical strategy. You’ll be responsible for overseeing the entire engineering lifecycle, from architecture and design to development and deployment as well as having the opportunity to oversee the Integrations and QA teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams.
• Team Management: Build, mentor, and inspire high-performing engineering teams.
• Product Development: Collaborate with product teams to define and execute product roadmaps.
• Architecture and Design: Oversee the design and implementation of scalable and robust technical solutions.
• Infrastructure: Manage and optimize our infrastructure, including cloud and on-premises environments.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure the delivery of high-quality software through rigorous testing and quality assurance processes.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously improve the performance and scalability of our systems

Requirements:

• Strong technical background in C#.NET, SQL, and related technologies
• Proven experience in leading and managing engineering teams
• Experience working in a SaaS business
• Deep understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus
