The job:
🔹 Help devs stop breaking things – educate product teams on reliability, quality, and best practices so things don’t explode at 2 AM.
🔹 Building a POC for on-demand microservice environments – think containers, parallel services, and untangling legacy spaghetti to make things actually scalable.
🔹 Troubleshooting the unfixable – This isn’t just a “run some Terraform scripts” gig. You’ll be analyze large datasets, extract gold from legacy systems, and making sense of chaos.
🔹 Acting as the right-hand of the Director of Engineering – It’s a high-visibility, high-impact role. No hiding in the shadows here.
🔹 Get promoted to

✅ Golang (or solid OOP experience and proof you can pick it up fast)
✅ Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, and DevOps toolchains
✅ Linux fundamentals & open-source tools
✅ Testing, security, and monitoring (none of that “it works on my machine” nonsense)
✅ Observability, alerting, and test environments
