Williams River Veterinary Clinic is looking for an experienced, cert 4 veterinary nurse to start in the coming month. The position would suit permanent part time hours (3-4 days per week) but we would also consider those wanting full time work for the right applicant. Pay rate is negotiable depending on experience and suitability for the role.

We are a privately owned, mixed practice located in Clarence Town NSW. We currently employ 4 vets and 9 nurses. Our focus is customer service and client satisfaction and have a very loyal, long standing clientele base.

We have all the equipment we need to provide a high standard of care to our patients, including modern anesthetic monitoring, pulse oximetry, DR radiology, ultrasonography, iM3 dental machine and more. We perform a wide variety of routine soft tissue surgery, and often have a large medical case load.

The successful applicant would need to be confident in a range of nursing tasks including managing the reception area, communicating clearly with clients and colleagues, monitoring general anesthesia, surgical nursing, assisting with x-rays and dentals, IV set up and catheter placement, blood collection, administering treatments to patients and have a calm and gentle approach when handling anxious patients.
