Seeking a Veterinary Nurse full-time or part-time with the possibility of “Head Nurse” for the right candidate.

We have taken over Rose Avenue Veterinary Hospital and Toormina Road Veterinary Clinic about 1 year ago and it has been nothing but positive changes since! We are in an exciting growth phase and putting in lots of effort to improve our patient standards of care while changing in to a staff centric clinic. We are very keen for motivated staff who can see the cracks and brain storm with us on how we can improve.

About the clinic:

• 2 branch practice
• Modernised software including Vetcheck for patient flow and seamless integration of all charts/consent forms to patient files; modeus s8's; ascend cloud based software; and in the process of integrating our Xrays with our practice management software and signalpet (essentially putting a lot of resources in to minimise time consuming tasks)
• Established for over 20 years but under new ownership recently.
• All your base equipment including multi parameter monitoring with capnograph, X-rays, comprehensive in house laboratory, im3 dental equipment, a new ultrasound and a desire to build this more
• A great team of vets and nurses. We do a mixture of orthopaedic surgeries, difficult medical/surgical/emergency cases and even acupuncture and holistic care.
• Located in Coffs Harbour and Toormina

Desired attributes:

• A qualified nurse - preferably with a few year’s experience. We have some great junior nurses but would love to add a senior nurse to our crew.
• Up to date clinical skills including blood sampling, catheter placements, anaesthetics, xray positioning, patient monitoring
• A positive people friendly attitude
• The desire to work with a team to update our systems heading towards high standards of patient care
