About the Role:

As a Account Manager, you will manage and grow a portfolio of wholesale/retail accounts across South Australia, with some coverage in Victoria and NSW. This role is a mix of relationship management, sales growth, and product training, ensuring customers are confident in selling your product range. Working on the road and from a home office, you will also spend approximately 25% of your time visiting regional and remote accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Growth:

  • Achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth within your territory.
  • Develop and execute an annual business plan tailored to your accounts.
  • Conduct account reviews and present business insights to customers.

Account & Relationship Management:

  • Maintain strong relationships with wholesale accounts and key decision-makers.
  • Work closely with customers to identify business opportunities and act as their trusted advisor.
  • Deliver in-store training and support, ensuring staff are well-equipped to sell the product range.
  • Manage a structured customer call cycle to maximise engagement and sales.

Product & Market Insights:

  • Ensure all accounts have the latest samples, POS materials, and marketing collateral.
  • Keep the CRM system up to date with customer interactions and sales insights.
  • Prepare sales presentations and displays to showcase product features and benefits.

About You:

  • 2+ years' experience in sales/account/territory management, ideally in building products or related industries.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with a customer-first approach.
  • Organised, with excellent planning, prioritisation, and negotiation skills.
  • A team player who works collaboratively while managing your territory independently.
  • Ability to identify growth opportunities and translate them into practical sales actions.
  • Experience working with wholesale, retail, or trade customers is highly regarded.
