ROLE
As a Product Specialist, you will play a critical role in our mission to empower individuals with complex disabilities and enhance the delivery of mobility equipment. You will be responsible for conducting clinical assessments, prescribing appropriate equipment, and building and maintaining relationships with allied health professionals to achieve good clinical and functional outcomes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Clinical Assessments: Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments of individuals with complex disabilities to determine their mobility and assistive technology needs. Provide expert advice, recommendation, education and support to clients and their families
Equipment Scripting and Fitting: Prescribe and fit complex disability mobility and assistive technology equipment that aligns with clinical and functional requirements. Provide product trials and training where necessary.
New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the hospital and community sectors to expand our customer base and market presence.
Account Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, providing ongoing support, addressing concerns, and ensuring satisfaction with our products and services. Managing the sales lifecycle from assessment through quote to closure of the sale.
Product Knowledge: Stay current on the latest advancements in complex disability mobility and assistive technology equipment, providing expertise and guidance to healthcare professionals and clients.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of clinical assessments, equipment prescriptions, and client interactions in line with the proper compliance and requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience in mobility and assistive technology equipment sales
- Demonstrated ability to drive new business development and manage client accounts.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy desirable but not essential
- Current Valid Australian Driver’s License required.
- Current National Criminal History Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Flu Vaccination (or willingness to obtain)
