Role Overview:

As a Sales Representative for Jim’s Security Doors and Screens, your primary responsibility will be to promote and sell our range of security doors and screens. In addition to this, you will also introduce and sell our secondary product offerings, including blinds, shutters, and awnings. This role will require you to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions that improve the security and style of their homes and businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sell and promote Jim’s Security Doors and Screens product range, focusing on security doors and screens.

• Identify sales opportunities for blinds, shutters, and awnings as secondary products to complement the security offerings.

• Conduct in-person consultations with residential and commercial clients to understand their needs and offer appropriate product solutions.

• Provide detailed information about security doors, screens, blinds, shutters, and awnings to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.

• Prepare and deliver accurate quotes, negotiate pricing, and close sales.

• Manage the sales process from initial contact through to post-installation follow-up.

• Build and maintain lasting relationships with both new and existing clients.

• Collaborate with the installation team to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth order fulfillment.

• Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets for both primary and secondary products.

• Keep up to date with industry trends and product knowledge to effectively sell and promote our range of products.

Key Requirements:

• Proven sales experience, ideally in the home improvement, security, or window treatment industries.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.

• Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Knowledge of security doors and screens, blinds, shutters, and awnings is preferred but not required (training will be provided).

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and close deals in a fast-paced environment.

• Full driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.

• Comfortable with both in-office and fieldwork.
