- implement changes that benefit children birth to 13 years-of-age and their families
- monitor and promote the consistent application of the Education and Care Services National Law across all states and territories
- support the early childhood education and care sector to improve quality outcomes for children

The Role
The Senior Officer Communications supports ACECQA's Manager Communications and Engagement by developing, delivering and evaluating digital communications and engagement strategies to promote the National Quality Framework (NQF). They provide excellent customer service to all stakeholder relationships to support quality assurance and collaborations across the organisation and project manage ACECQA's brands, websites, channels and content.
This role is full time and fixed-term (12 months) at ACECQA Band 5 ($96,766 - $117,912).
About You
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Strong skills and experience developing, implementing and evaluating digital communication and engagement strategies, plans and publications.
- Skilled copy-editor able to quality assure content, distil complex information into plain English and ensure compliance with branding and AG Style Manual writing style, intellectual property and accessibility requirements.
- Skilled analytics user able to monitor and report on the effectiveness of online publishing and marketing.
- A can-do attitude, excellent communication and teamwork skills, experienced in developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders and providing excellent customer service.
- Strong project management skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Experienced and skilled in using a range of online platforms including website content management systems, social media scheduling tools, electronic marketing software and M365 Sharepoint and Teams.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in communications, marketing or journalism and relevant experience publishing for education and/or government organisations are highly desirable
