Our client is a well-respected government who focus on providing services throughout NSW. They are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking Senior Communication Engagement Officer to join their business unit.

The successful candidate would ideally have experience in developing and executing internal and external stakeholder engagement strategies. This contract would be an ASAP start until 10th May 2025.

Reporting into the Senior Manager, in this exciting Communications Engagement contract, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Develop communication and stakeholder engagement strategies to manage information and engagement needs.
• Implement systems to track and report on stakeholder activities across key projects.
• Provide regular reports on stakeholder relationships and issues.
• Advise on managing emerging stakeholder and communication concerns.
• Coordinate media activities and government relations with the media team.
• Build and maintain relationships to promote open communication and best practice engagement.

To be successful for this Communications Engagement contract, you must have experience with the following:

• Proven experience in developing and executing communication plans and content in a customer-focused environment.
• Tertiary qualification in media, communications, public relations, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in project managing communications and content delivery across a variety of channels for internal and external audiences.
• NSW Government experience highly advantageous.
• Strong communication skills – written and verbal.
