The Grounds of Alexandria is renowned for it's wonderful events - from incredible fairytale weddings to corporate launches - we do it all.

We now have a rare opportunity to join our team in the Sales Department in one of the busiest times ever for our Events department!

Who are you?

We are seeking a highly motivated Event Sales Manager who is passionate about hitting targets and driving the top line.

You must be confident and exude a strong, professional presence while being sales and numbers focused, doing all that you can to hit conversion rates whilst still maintaining The Ground’s passion around creating memorable experiences. Some key qualities we are looking for are,

What is the role?

  • Manage allocated enquiries via Salesforce and other forms of enquiry engagement. Follow the sales journey by providing relevant information to potential clients, host site visits, and manage appropriate administration required to complete the event sale.
  • Close the loop in relation to event sales - finalise appropriate paperwork, create and complete client folders, update event systems correctly (Salesforce and Priava)
  • Meet & greet your clients at key events & ensure all events are executed effectively.
  • Responsible for account management - creating & negotiations of contracts for clients, updating all client information etc.
  • Ensure that customer relationships are managed effectively, follow up with all clients after events to ensure customer satisfaction & customer loyalty.
  • Effectively deal with complaints & resolve any issues in a timely manner to ensure every client has a positive experience.
  • This position is a full-time position with mandatory weekend and holiday rotation and evening hours. A consistent WFH day per week is available for use.

We are looking for someone who has at least 2 years experience in a similar position within a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Having exposure to volume is key - there is really no place like us!
