About the role
As the Wedding and Events Sales Manager at GRAND STAR RECEPTIONS', you will be responsible for driving sales and managing client relationships to deliver exceptional service and experiences for our customers. This full-time, on-the-road role is based in Altona North, VIC and will see you travel to meet with clients and showcase our premium event spaces and hospitality offerings.
What you'll be doing
- Actively prospect for new wedding and event business through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events
- Conduct on-site tours and presentations to showcase our unique event spaces and tailor proposals to client needs
- Manage the full sales cycle, from initial inquiry to contract signing and event planning
- Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless delivery of events and exceptional client experiences
- Provide advice and guidance to clients on event planning, catering, and entertainment options
- Contribute to the development of our sales and marketing strategies
What we're looking for
- 3-5 years of experience in a sales or events management role within the hospitality industry
- Demonstrated success in generating new business and achieving sales targets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- A creative mindset and problem-solving skills to deliver tailored solutions for clients
- Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service
