About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Corporate & Events Manager to join the team at Castle Hill Country Club. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination and execution of all corporate & member events, functions and promotional activity at our prestigious club. The role entails a mix of office and front facing responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Proactively manage the end-to-end event planning process, from initial client consultation to post-event review
  • Liaise with clients to understand their event requirements and deliver exceptional experiences that exceed their expectations
  • Coordinate and manage all event logistics, including venue setup, catering, audiovisual equipment, and staffing with the relevant departments.
  • Drive member engagement by coordinating promotional and social activity of the Club
  • Develop and manage event budgets to ensure profitability
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors
  • Effectively lead and mentor a small team of Clubhouse staff
  • Monitor event performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement

About You

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar Events Management role, preferably within the Hospitality or Golf Management Industry
  • A proven track record of delivering high-quality, profitable events and functions
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills
  • Sound event budgeting and financial management capabilities
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in managing and developing a team to ensure they consistently deliver superior service and feel confident in their own abilities
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with industry trends and best practices in event management
  • Ability to assist with the development & implementation of new innovations and processes for the events department
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends & public holidays when required
