PWS is seeking a teacher full of enthusiasm to take up this job-share (2.5 days) role preferably Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. You will have a very positive and enriching experience working with “Class 5” for 12 months, providing maternity relief in Term 2, 3, 4 2025 and Term 1, 2026.

The nature of the children in your care will positively surprise and delight you and the curriculum, which is well structured, rich and holistic, meets the children perfectly, at their stage of development.

You will have a passion for education and an understanding of or willingness to be trained in Steiner pedagogy and philosophy. Artistic and musical talent is desired.

For the right person, with a high degree of social and emotional intelligence and a strong work ethic, this is a wonderful opportunity. Teachers who have entered Steiner education for the first time often remark that they have regained the passion they had lost for education.

The school is located in a beautiful bush land setting near Bibra Lake in the southern suburbs of Perth (approx. 20 minutes from the CBD and 15 minutes from Fremantle). We provide a Steiner education from Playgroup to Class 12. The work environment is positive and enriching.

Depending on experience the salary range is between $82,000 (graduate) to $122,000 (8 year's experience). Some people have asked for Leave without Pay from their current employer to experience a change in curriculum and reduce the risk of leaving work for a different role.

Applicants must be teachers who are registered (or eligible for registration) with the Teachers Registration Board of WA (TRBWA) and hold a valid Working with Children Check.

They must have Australian residency or possession of a valid visa with work entitlement in Australia. There is no opportunity for sponsorship of overseas teachers.
