Our Client is an Australian family owned and operated dry, cold and freezer storage, logistics and distribution provider servicing medium to large food producers and import/export clients.

Due to recent growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a talented, experienced and motivated Warehouse & Logistics Customer Coordinator with experience in logistics, transport and/or warehouse administration and inventory control techniques to join our friendly, dedicated team.

• Temp to Perm after 3 months
• $38 per hour
• Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm

Duties include:

• Receipting and checking in stock and ensuring the timely and accurate organisation of stock
• Warehouse and inventory control including monitoring, maintaining and ensuring the accuracy, reliability and accessibility of stock in the inventory tracking system/s
• Ensuring that internal control procedures are followed at all times
• Providing exceptional, customer service and proactive support to our clients
• Responding to, and resolving, all client phone and email queries
• Booking orders and arranging transport movements for freight
• Raising documentation for pallet transfers
• Producing reports and investigating variances
• Other warehouse, transport and logistics administration duties as required

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Previous third party logistics, distribution, transport &/ or warehousing administration experience
• Knowledge of, or experience in, cold storage and/ or import/export processes would be advantageous
• Inventory management experience
• Strong organisational skills and a keen attention to detail
• Intermediate to advanced computer literacy including WMS, MS Office suite & industry web portals
• Flexibility and adaptability
• The ability to self-start, work both independently and actively contribute to a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and personal accountability
• A strong work ethic and a willingness to assist their colleagues

All successful candidates will be subject to random and ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
