About the role

Project & Management Pros' is seeking a skilled and experienced Leading Hand Cabinet Maker to join our team in Wentworthville, NSW. As a full-time position, you will play a key role in overseeing the production and delivery of high-quality custom cabinetry and joinery for our diverse residential and commercial clients.

What you'll be doing

• Supervise and guide a team of cabinet makers to ensure efficient and accurate production
• Take the lead on complex cabinet and joinery projects, providing technical expertise and problem-solving skills
• Liaise with project managers and clients to understand requirements and translate them into final products
• Ensure all work adheres to safety standards and quality control procedures
• Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment
• Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of machinery and tools
• Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to junior cabinet makers

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a cabinet maker, with proven leadership abilities
• Strong technical skills in cabinet construction, including expertise in woodworking, finishing, and hardware installation
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control best practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and team members
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
