About the Role
Swinburne University is seeking an experienced Administration Officer to provide high-quality support to the Director of Employability and the wider Employability team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering efficient and professional administrative assistance, ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day activities.

Your key responsibilities will include managing and completing a range of administrative tasks, with a particular focus on operational administration, finance, and human resources. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.

About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

  • Excellent initiative and self-management skills to deal with the range of functions and tasks in a proactive manner under broad direction
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills and the ability to effectively deal with conflicting priorities on a daily basis
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate, liaise and work with people at all levels, both internal and external to the University with tact, maturity and appreciation of sensitive issues
  • Advanced knowledge of IT systems and packages such as MS Office, email systems and Personal Digital Assistance (such as iPhone, Laptop and iPad).

Qualifications
A degree; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training in areas including; Administration, Business, Management, Human Resource, Finance
