About the role
PCR Building Services are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our company in Wagga NSW in a full-time position. In this pivotal role, you will play a critical part in managing a variety of exciting and complex commercial and residential construction projects. You’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will lead a dedicated team, maintaining clear communication with all key stakeholders to ensure the success of every project.

Qualifications

• Building knowledge with proven experience managing construction projects in both commercial and residential sectors
• NSW White Card
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in identifying and reporting of potential risks and implementing safety plans.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in computer literacy and the ability to navigate new systems.
• Familiarity with project management software and tools.
• Current driver’s license required.
• Ability to read and understand SWMS (Safe Work Method Statements), WHS (Work Health and Safety) requirements, and injury prevention protocols.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations

• Tender Management: Oversee won tenders, ensuring all project requirements are met and that projects are effectively managed to meet the needs of both the client and PCR.
• Project Planning & Execution: Develop detailed plans, manage timelines, and allocate resources accordingly.
• Team Oversight: Supervise and mentor the trades team, ensuring projects are completed in a timely manner and to the highest quality standards. Ensure all team members adhere to company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular updates with the Sales Manager and other stakeholders, addressing any project concerns or challenges.
• Quality Control: Conduct site inspections to ensure that all projects meet quality standards and comply with regulations.
• Risk Management: Proactively identify and address potential risks, developing effective solutions as needed.
