The Director of four successful Melbourne venues is seeking to appoint an exceptional restaurant / venue manager to work at our Point Cook location.

A true love of the hospitality industry, energy and a sincere passion for achieving great results will be the cornerstones of the individuals who seeks out these opportunities.

The Company

We are a growing restaurant group with 4 large venues in Melbourne. Our aim when we launched Rococo back in 2005, and to this day, has always been to provide Melburnians with simple, honest, delicious Italian food. We are passionate about all things food and wine and believe in the creating an experience for all our guests.

Job role

  • The job role will focus on setting and maintaining a high level of customer service while following our current systems and procedures to a high standard
  • Controlling operational costs and promoting efficiency
  • You will be responsible for coordinating and managing the front of house staff and leading an energetic team to deliver high quality service to guests
  • Recruit, coach and mentor new employees including staff performance reviews and creating a strong team culture
  • Rostering alongside the Restaurant Industry Award
  • Workplace compliance including Health and Safety, RSA, Award compliance
  • Support Local Area Marketing strategies to increase business
  • Demonstrate a strong ability to meet company KPIs

Who we are looking for:

  • Previous Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager experience essential;
  • Excellent people management skills;
  • We are looking for someone with initiative and drive with an emphasis on outstanding customer service who thrives on a fast paced environment
  • A professional and hands on approach with a willingness to learn and develop;
  • Commitment to achieving outstanding results in all areas of the business
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends and public holidays
