About the company:
This company is a top-tier Solar power provider in Australian that have been established for over 10 years. They are listed as 1 of 7 aggregators in the accredited provider segment out of 100's of other retailers. This business hire talent from outside of their industry and invest heavily in staff training (this can be you).
The unique distinction about this organisation is that they are a Carbon Credit Certificate Provider to the energy markets, so they hold a major licence and difference to any other solar retailer in this space, putting them at the forefront of development and compliance.
This company deal with 2 main markets; Residential, such as homes and apartments, as well as Commercial and Industrial such as retail, warehousing, manufacturing, office blocks etc.
The role:
This role is in their Solar division selling to both home owners and commercial business customers, both B2C and B2B. You will be consulting with customers on solar systems and closing the sale.
- Dealing with both Residential & Commercial clients
- Consulting customers for Solar & Battery solutions
- Closing sales for new roof top solar fit outs
- Some leads provided to you, some self generated
- Full support from management with training, mentoring & development
- Working both autonomously as well as from either of Melbourne's 2 offices
- Lucrative uncapped commission structure

The experience necessary for this job:
To be considered for this role you will ideally be coming from Solar or Energy sales where you have sold systems and solutions to both B2C and B2B. If you have knowledge of Solar Victoria SV that is an advantage.
Key areas of experience are:
- Experience in sales dealing with customers
- Experience in closing and winning new sales
- Ideally experience from Solar and Energy
- Dealing with customers face to face or over the phone
- Ability to negotiate and handle objections
- Hunger and drive to earn and achieve
- Good communication skills written and verbal
- Ability to work autonomously and part of a team
