At The Atlantis Group, we are dedicated to fostering a positive relationship with physical activity, build skills, confidence and resilience in our children to encourage movement for life. TAG Sports, our unique program developed using the principles from SportAUS and the Physical Literacy Framework, integrates sports into our weekly programs across all OSHC and Early Learning services.

Position: Sport Coordinator
Location: Currambine (Support Office) with travel to Manning, Rosalie, Kinross, Ocean Keys, Alkimos, Yanchep, and Two Rocks.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Working Days: Monday to Friday

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Sports Coordinator to join our team on a part-time basis for a fixed term of nine months. This role involves coordinating sports programs for OSHC and Early Learning that align with our holistic philosophy and company values, exceeding in Quality Area 1, 2, 3 and 6, linking with My Time Our Place and Early Year Learning Framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sports programs that align with the My Time, Our Place and Early Years Learning Framework, ensuring they promote holistic education for children.
  • Launch the TAG sports program if we receive a new OSHC.
  • Ensure smooth transitions into new sports each term, handling any issues such as sick leave, equipment rotation, and marking updates. Manage equipment turnover between services for term programs.
  • Audit operations at the OSHC services and of coaches.
  • Handle administrative tasks including marketing, social media posts, website updates, updates from managers, emails, and adjusting programming accordingly.
  • Address conflicts and other issues that arise in a professional and timely manner, seeking support and advice when needed.
  • Mentor and guide sports coaches at each service and center to deliver sports programs in a fun and effective way.
  • Demonstrate initiative in all aspects of the role, continually seeking ways to improve and innovate.

To Be Consider for the Role:

  • Proven experience in coordinating sports programs, particularly for children.
  • Passion for sports and promoting an active lifestyle in children.
  • Strong understanding of My Time Our Place and Early Years Learning Framework.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Drivers License
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to address conflicts professionally.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
