About the Role

As an Estimator & Pre-Construction Manager, you’ll play a key role in pricing, securing trades, and driving projects from tender to contract stage. This role is a mix of estimating (70%) and pre-construction (30%), giving you the opportunity to take ownership of the process while working with a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for office fitout projects ranging from $20K to $2M
• Manage pre-construction activities, securing trades and finalising contracts
• Work with Buildsoft (or QBIT) to ensure efficient and competitive pricing
• Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective solutions
• Drive projects to contract stage with precision and attention to detail

About You

• Experience in estimating for commercial fitouts or similar projects
• Strong understanding of construction costs, materials, and trade procurement
• Proficiency in estimating software such as Buildsoft or QBIT
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with suppliers and subcontractors
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
