An exciting opportunity

This is a new position, and as the Contract Administrator and Pre-Construction Manager you will have a unique opportunity to play a key part in our exciting construction projects across QLD. In this dynamic position, you'll take charge of managing contracts and providing essential pre-construction support, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Join our team and make a direct impact on the success of innovative and high-quality construction projects. You will be report direct to the owner and this role is ideal for a person that doesn’t mind getting in and setting up their role for success.

Core responsibilities include:

• Prepare, review, and negotiate construction contracts and related documents
• Monitor contract compliance and resolve any contractual issues that arise
• Provide pre-construction support, including cost estimation, tendering, and project planning
• Collaborate with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution
• Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the overall success of the business

The skills you’ll need

• Ideally a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the construction industry
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, project management principles, and relevant industry regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Proficient in using construction-specific software and tools (e.g., project management software, cost estimation tools)
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues proactively
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
