The Position:

In this role, you'll have the chance to work with children aged 3 to 5 in the Early Learning Centre, as well as assist with their OSHC program. The school are looking for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative team, can lead by example, and is committed to creating a positive, supportive environment for the children while ensuring everything runs smoothly and in line with educational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the care and supervision of children, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality, developmentally appropriate programs.
• Support the planning and preparation of daily activities, including providing afternoon tea for the children.
• Contribute to the cleanliness and organization of the program.
• Assist the OSHC Coordinator in managing children's behavior, promoting positive interactions and problem-solving.
• Engage with parents, introducing yourself and addressing any program-related inquiries or concerns.
• Attend and actively participate in various social and community functions related to the Early Learning Centre.
• Uphold the service's policies, procedures, and practices to ensure a safe and effective working environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

• A Certificate III in Children’s Services, Diploma, or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent).
• Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID012 or equivalent).
• Current Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates.
• Experience as an Early Learning Coeducator (preferred).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to take initiative, solve problems, and collaborate effectively in a team setting.
• Proficiency in MS Office 365.
• Current Working with Children Check.
