In the role of Policy Advisor some of your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Researching, analysing and developing policy, legislative, and business solutions.
- Preparing a range of official government documentation.
- Providing evidence-based, logical and timely advice to internal and external Stakeholders.
- Developing and maintaining effective networks, and consulting and negotiating with internal and external customers, interest groups, other government agencies and the general public.
- Coordinating activities or projects to ensure the effective delivery of policy outcomes.
To be successful in the role you will need to:
- Manage your own time and deliver work within agreed milestones.
- Write well in a range of forms, with clear and concise communication skills.
- Conduct detailed and accurate research and analysis on a range of road safety and legislative topics.
- Work well in a team and with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
