If you’re specialized in concrete supplies, reinforcing mesh, bars, and accessories, or if you have warehouse experience and are looking to expand your skill set, this role is for you!

Join our award-winning, family-owned company with a dynamic team of over 160 professionals. We’re seeking an energetic, highly motivated Forklift Driver and Yard Hand to support daily operations in our busy steel yard, with top candidates enjoying competitive above-award pay.

What You’ll Do

Forklift Operations & Yard Handling

• Order Management: Pick and pack orders efficiently.

• Loading & Unloading: Load and unload trucks with care.

• Supply Stacking: Stack trade supplies and ensure neat organization.

• Customer Service: Provide exceptional support to both trade and retail customers—help loading products

into their vehicles.

• General Duties: Perform routine yard tasks to keep operations running smoothly.

Stock Control & Order Fulfillment

• Stacking & Labeling: Manage stock by stacking, labeling, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment.

• Computer Operations & Sales: Process point-of-sale transactions, handle quotes, manage customer orders,

and balance sales at the end of the day.

Facility & Administrative Responsibilities

• Facility Upkeep: Regularly sweep floors and empty bins to maintain a clean working environment.

• Safety & Service: Always assist customers and handle stock with care.

• Administrative Tasks: Complete customer payment tickets, accurately fill in packing slips, and ensure timely

delivery to the main shed’s delivery clipboard.

• Security: Lock the shed and set the alarm at the end of your shift.

What We’re Looking For

• Essential Requirement:

o Valid LF (Forklift Licence)

o Willingness to learn gantry crane operations

• Desirable Attributes:

o Previous experience as a Forklift Driver or in a similar role

o Basic knowledge of timber and building products

o Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

o A team player with a “can do” attitude and a strong safety-first mindset

o Previous supervisory experience

o Available to work Sunday – Thursday
