About the role & team:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administration Officer to join the Melbourne Custody Centre team on a 12-month fixed-term, full-time contract, with a potential view to extend. Reporting to our Contract Lead (Shaun), and working closely with our Operations Managers, this role is crucial in supporting the smooth operation of the business by providing essential administrative, HR, and payroll services. This is a flexible hybrid role, where you can work three days from home and a minimum of two days in the CBD office.
The successful candidates will be responsible for:
Managing general office administration, including preparing invoices and ordering
Providing financial administration support, including payroll processing, superannuation payments, and related tasks.
Working with Operational Managers to deliver workforce planning and rostering solutions including preparation of daily disposition, rostering, annual leave management and coverage.
Preparation and distribution of reports monthly, including customer reports, performance reporting and other reports as required by the Contract Lead.
Serving as the primary point of contact for clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Collaborating with the recruitment team to facilitate clearance checks, provide client-required new hire information, and coordinate training with external providers.
Accurately recording and distributing meeting minutes promptly.
What we're looking for:
Proven administrative experience.
Experience using Microsoft Office/Google Suite applications.
- Experience using UKG is highly desirable.
