My client are an established commercial builder who specialise in fitout and construction. They known for their repeat client base on projects up to $80m. They have an extremely diverse portfolio of work across WA and have a national presence. They are currently looking for an experienced Project Manager to join the team permanently.

This role is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on individual to work in a transparent and hardworking team. You will oversee multiple projects concurrently (2-3 on average). You will have ultimate responsibility for stakeholder management, planning, procurement, subcontractor coordination as well as overall safety and cost control of the projects. You will be the main contact for all key stakeholders and provide a high level of communication to all parties such as clients, architects & subcontractors.

In this role your responsibilities will include:

• Build and maintain key relationships with key stakeholders such as clients, architects, engineers and subcontractors
• Planning and management of programme, budget & quality of each project from tender award through to practical completion.
• Value engineering.
• Sub-contractor management including procurement, engagement, payment and final accounts.
• Attend all site meetings, oversee team including Contract Administrators and Site Managers.
• Report on key project milestones directly to Project Director.

You will be proficient in the following:

• Hold a Construction related Degree or relevant qualification
• Experience as a Project Manager in the commercial fitout / construction industry.
• Excellent build knowledge, strong time management and effective communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a very busy environment.
