The Opportunity

In this pivotal role you will provide therapeutic intervention for a variety of client presentations (WorkCover, NDIS, Medicare and EAP). This role will provide direct therapy and assessment to clients utilising best practice interventions. As a Psychologist, you will drive profound change, guiding individuals through intricate psychological complexities. Collaborating with a diverse team, you will conduct in-depth assessments to uncover underlying issues. Utilising this knowledge, you will craft personalised treatment plans empowering individuals to live enriching lives and reach their aspirations. Your responsibilities will include advocacy, crisis intervention, and evidence-based decision-making.

As a Team Leader, you will play a vital role in supporting the growth of junior team members and ensuring your team's commitment to client outcomes, including maintaining quality outputs and utilising internal and external skill development programs. You will not only assist clients in achieving their goals but also contribute to the development of provisional & emerging Psychologists and continued growth of Senior Practitioners.

Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing psychological services provided, ensuring compliance with best practices and therapeutic standards.
• Leading and mentoring a team of psychologists, promoting continuous professional development.
• Conducting regular performance reviews and setting development targets for team members.
• Supporting the team to meet key performance indicators, aligning with organisational goals.
• Conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals to identify and diagnose emotional, cognitive and behavioural disorders.
• Developing individualised treatment plans based on current best practice.
• Collaborating with families, caregivers, and stakeholder teams to implement strategies effectively.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential client records, documenting treatment plans, progress notes and assessments.
• Advocating for the rights and needs of individuals with behavioural challenges.
• Offering crisis management and de-escalation support when required.

About You

• Registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA & relevant governing bodies.
• Demonstrated experience in providing person-centred support with individuals with complex behavioural support needs.
• Demonstrated experience in report writing.
• Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams across multiple locations.
• Previous experience in leading a team.
• NSW driver's license and Working With Children Check.
• National Criminal History Check and NDIS Workers Clearance.

Anticipated Package Range: $110,000 to $130,000 plus super dependent on expertise and experience
