The Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Loan Processor to join our client’s dynamic team. This role is critical in ensuring that all loan applications are processed accurately and efficiently, supporting the mortgage brokers in delivering exceptional service to all clients.
You will work closely with brokers and lenders, handling multiple loan applications simultaneously, and ensuring smooth processing through to settlement.

Key Responsibilities:

Loan Application Preparation:

• Review and prepare loan applications, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate and complete before submission to lenders.
• Liaise with clients to collect required information, clarifying details and ensuring adherence to lender criteria.

Client Communication & Support:

• Act as the main point of contact for clients during the loan process, providing regular updates and answering any queries.
• Communicate with lenders on behalf of clients to expedite approval and settlement.

Documentation & Compliance:

• Ensure all loan applications comply with regulatory and company policies, including responsible lending and NCCP requirements.
• Organise and manage client documentation, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system.

Settlement Coordination:

• Track and manage loan applications from submission through to settlement, liaising with solicitors, lenders, and clients to ensure timely completion.
• Conduct final checks before settlement to ensure all conditions are met and all necessary documentation is completed.

High-Volume Processing:

• Efficiently process a high volume of loan files, maintaining a strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in every application.
• Work with clients on complex loans, ensuring timely follow-ups and proactive problem-solving when challenges arise.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in loan processing
• Familiarity with mortgage broking software and CRM systems.
• Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple loan files simultaneously.
• Strong communication and client relationship skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of lending criteria for both residential and commercial loans.
• High level of attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
