We are currently looking for experienced and licensed Traffic Management Implementers to join us, working in and around the Mackay region. The ideal candidate will have a valid White Card, Traffic Control Tickets and proven experience in traffic control operations.

Please note these positions are for experienced staff . If you do not currently hold a TMI licence please feel free to apply for our trainee positions in the future.

What you will be doing:

• Perform all tasks associated with traffic management for works or events
• Use of Stop/Slow Bat to control traffic
• Implement and monitor operational Traffic Management Plans
• Complete vehicle pre-start check starts
• Load and unload vehicles with equipment and signage
• Complete size hazard assessments and implement control measures to suit the site
• Report on site hazards and near misses
• Monitor traffic behaviour and flow to ensure safety is maintained at all times
• Control traffic, pedestrians and cyclists to prevent maintenance workers, work crews and members of the public

What we’re looking for:

• Control Traffic with a Stop Slow Bat Licence
• Traffic Management Implementation Licence
• White Card
• Drivers licence and own transport
• Willing to undergo a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
