The Role:

Due to an increase in workload, we have exciting opportunities for Traffic Controllers to join our team.

Must have current Workzone Traffic Management Card, White Card, and Driver's Licence.

Must be honest, reliable, punctual and be able to work in a team environment and individually when required.

Essential requirements:

• Safety construction Induction Card (White Card)
• Valid SA Driver’s License and reliable transport / confident to drive manual & auto.
• Traffic Controller Ticket/ Work Zone Traffic Management Ticket (RIIWHS205E - Control traffic with stop-slow bat & RIIWHS302E - Implement traffic management plans) Or Traffic Controller/Management (TC2 + TMI2) Training RIISS00059 & RIISS00061
• Ability to work autonomously or within a team environment
• HLTAID011 - Provide First Aid - (Preferred)
• HLTAID010 - Provide basic Emergency Life Support - (Preferred)
• HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) - (Preferred)
• DIT login details
• Excellent Communication Skills.
• Strong Work Ethic.
• Immediate availability for casual/full time work – a flexible and positive attitude!

Details:

• Day & night and weekend shifts available Up to 10hr shifts
• Applicable allowances
• Various job locations in Adelaide area – workday starts at 7 am in Lonsdale (or otherwise arranged)
• Variety of Traffic Control tasks including directing heavy vehicle movements on construction sites, loading dock assistance, pedestrian watch, lane closures
• Competent level of English
• 2-way radio
• Punctual, reliable and works well as part of a team.
• Good work ethic, flexibility in the working week as nights and weekend work is a must
• Commitment to adopt company policies and procedures.
• Full unrestricted working rights

Salary:

• +- $36+ per hour ($36 inclusive of casual loading)
