About the role

MARS Transport Equipment is seeking an experienced Spray Painter to join our dynamic team in Barmera, South Australia. As a Spray Painter, you will be responsible for the high-quality finishing of our industry-leading semi-trailers, playing a crucial role in delivering exceptional products to our customers. This is a full-time position offering a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to grow within our expanding organisation.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and painting semi-trailer bodies, components and accessories to the highest standard
• Ensuring accurate colour matching and a seamless finish on all painted surfaces
• Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that may arise during the painting process
• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment to support efficient operations
• Collaborating with the production team to meet tight deadlines and delivery schedules
• Adhering to all health, safety and quality protocols to deliver safe and compliant products

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Spray Painter, ideally within the automotive or transportation industry
• Excellent knowledge of spray painting techniques, equipment, and materials
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to achieve a high-quality finish
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical specifications and schematics
• A problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
