Data Engineering Lead required to lead the design, development and implementation of data analytics applications on AWS for a leading financial services firm

Responsibilities:

• liaising with senior business stakeholders to gather and define requirements
• designing solutions and leading the team in building pipelines to migrate data from source systems onto enterprise data lake
• ensuring code is implemented to support automation
• getting applications up and running in production environment, including looking after testing and security

Requirements:

• extensive Pyspark coding skills
• experience working across the AWS stack, including Airflow, Glue and Redshift
• proven background working on end-to-end projects on an enterprise scale
• strong experience leading teams of Data Engineers
• background working with senior business leaders up to Exec level
