The opportunity has become available for a Head Chef to join the team!

The Role

As Head Chef, your role will involve overseeing Goros’ kitchen operation and be the creative force in creating seasonal menus and playful specials, in line with our unique Japanese Izakaya food concept.

The role will involve all of the kitchen operation essentials, including seasonal menu creation, the day to day management of the kitchen operation, training and upskilling the brigade, back of house administration, building relationships with suppliers and designing unique seasonal menus.

Your exceptional leadership skills and ability to multi-task, will set you up for success and enable you to hit the ground running and drive a positive, collaborative culture.

We are on the hunt for an experienced Head Chef or Senior Sous with a flare for Japanese cuisine to bring their creativity and leadership to our venue!

Ideal candidates will have:
* Exceptional creativity and a passion for Japanese cuisine
* Prior experience using Cooking the books
* Fantastic leadership and mentoring skills
