Established for over 30 years, our client is a true market leading RTO. They provide full and short course qualifications to approximately 10 000 learners annually, across a variety of trades and blue collar industry. Due to recent expansion, they currently seek an Operations Manager with a broad operational and co-ordination background, to assist in continuing the success in the business. Based out of head office, the Operations Manager will manage client relationships and ensure the training delivery and student outcomes are of high quality, and in alignment with ASQA standards
On a day to day basis your role will include, but not be limited to:
- Operational Management
· Oversee the daily operations of training programs, ensuring smooth course delivery.
· Manage and coordinate training schedules, trainers, and equipment used to facilitate training.
· Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and student experience.
- Financial & Resource Management
· Assist with budget planning and cost control for training operations.
· Ensure facilities, equipment, and materials are well-maintained and compliant with safety
standards.
- Team Leadership & Staff Management
· Supervise and support a small team of Trainer/Assessors
· Provide leadership, training, and development opportunities for the team.
- Engagement
· Conduct internal audits on safety and training and prepare for external audits to ensure the RTO
meets compliance obligations.
· Manage relationships with industry partners, regulatory bodies, and corporate clients.
· Address and resolve student concerns to maintain a high level of satisfaction.
You must have the following skills to be successful in this role:
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of the Standards for RTO’s 2015 and training package requirements
- Relationship management skills with employers, partners and trainers within trade/blue collar qualifications
- Highly organised and hands-on, with ability to manage multiple tasks at once
- Ability to provide leadership in VET and work collaboratively across teams to achieve outcomes
- A Cert IV Training and Assessment, and qualification in WHS are highly desirable
