Position Overview:

As a Website Developer, you will be responsible for building, customising and maintaining WordPress websites. You will develop custom themes and plugins while ensuring that our websites not only look great, but also perform optimally. Your expertise in WordPress and PHP will be essential for delivering top-notch solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customise and maintain WordPress websites using Elementor, including custom themes and plugins.
• Write clean, efficient and well-documented PHP code.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress sites, hosting and DNS settings.
• Collaborate with designers and project managers to implement new features and functionalities.
• Be present for client kick-off meetings and manage direct client communication when necessary.
• Optimise websites for speed and performance.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in web development and WordPress technologies.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a strong portfolio of custom themes and plugins.
• Proficient in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with website hosting setups, DNS settings and server management.
• Experience with Shopify and other eCommerce platforms is highly advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Basic design skills and familiarity with design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma) a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
