The Role: WordPress Frontend Developer

We’re seeking a creative and detail-oriented WordPress Frontend Developer to work onsite at our Melbourne office, collaborating with our in-house team to bring UX designs to life. You’ll play a key role in enhancing functionality, speed, and user experience across our websites.

What You'll Do

• Develop and customize WordPress themes and templates based on business needs.
• Work closely with the marketing team to translate UX/UI designs into fully responsive, high-performing web pages.
• Optimize site speed, mobile responsiveness, and overall performance to drive engagement and conversions.
• Maintain and enhance the visual appeal, usability, and accessibility of our websites.
• Assist the senior web developer as required.

What We're Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proficiency in WordPress, including custom theme development and page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg).
• Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end development.
• A relevant degree in web development is preferred.
• Excellent eye for design, layout, and typography.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Understanding of UI/UX principles to enhance user experience.
• 1 year of experience in website design or front-end development, however recent graduates are encouraged to apply!
