We are seeking to welcome an IT Support Officer at Clairvaux MacKillop College for a permanent role. The role supports the Information Technology Leader to develop and deliver IT services for the college in line with BCE requirements. This role will primarily be responsible for the deployment, development & maintenance of school apps, troubleshooting and repair of all college devices. The role will liaise with staff, students, and parents of the college.

  • The skills, attributes, and drive to work in a busy IT department.
  • Previous experience in providing IT support, particularly in a large educational environment.
  • Enjoy a varied role that includes providing IT solutions for both primary and secondary students and teaching staff.
  • A passion for helping others and finding the right IT solution within guidelines.
  • Suitable tertiary qualifications

What you will bring to the role:

  • A helpfulness of spirit, flexibility, and excellent IT troubleshooting skills.
  • Programming & Scripting skills (PHP, PowerShell, SQL, etc)
  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications.
  • Previous relevant experience, particularly in an educational environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Great communication skills and a highly organised nature.
