The Role

Join KU Children's Services in a vital role that supports our mission to deliver section leading early education programs.

As part of the close knit ITC team, this role is the primary point of contact for KU staff in support of their ITC services. This position calls for a highly organised, flexible and proactive team member with a comprehensive understanding of software, networks, and troubleshooting, coupled with a strong grasp of Windows 10 & 11, and Microsoft365.

This opportunity is a permanent full-time role, accruing a monthly Rostered Day Off and will be based on the top floor of our newly renovated, sun lit central office - opposite the QVB on York Street, Sydney. The office is only a very short walk from Town Hall train station.

There is the opportunity to work hybrid WFH/in office - post probation.

What we are looking for:

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills with a positive attitude
  • The ability to support of single and multi-user ITC items at multiple KU locations located across the east coast
  • The support is mainly delivered through telephone, email and remote access tools, but may require on site attendance
  • A good understanding of Mobile, IoT and Smart devices operating on Apple IOS and Android
  • Solid experience in support/consulting with exposure to SharePoint, OneDrive, Power BI and Power Apps
  • Confident communication skills face to face and using phone/ Teams/ Zoom and email
  • Willingness and aptitude to learn new technological skills, in short
  • Ability to establish, maintain and enhance positive internal and external relationships
