The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Manager - Regulatory Change with a strong track record in regulatory compliance and risk management within financial services. This role plays a critical part in ensuring regulatory obligations are met while driving successful outcomes in a complex and evolving environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in regulatory change management, stakeholder engagement, and delivering risk transformation initiatives within a project-based setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Regulatory Change Management: Assess the impact of regulatory changes, identify compliance solutions, and ensure timely implementation.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior executives, legal, risk, and business teams to drive regulatory initiatives.
- Strategic Analysis & Documentation: Translate complex regulatory requirements into clear, actionable plans.
- Delivery Leadership: Oversee the execution of a critical regulatory workstream, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory expectations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a bridge between technical teams and business units to evaluate regulatory impacts on products and services.
- Regulatory Reporting: Collate, review, and submit regulatory documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Risk & Issue Management: Provide status updates and escalate any risks, issues, or dependencies that may impact progress.
About You
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Law, or a related field.
- Experience: Senior-level experience in regulatory compliance, risk management, and project execution within financial services.
- Analytical Skills: Proven ability to interpret complex regulations and develop strategic, actionable solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Project Management: Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Technology Proficiency: Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and regulatory reporting tools.
- Mindset: Adaptable, proactive, and results-driven, with a passion for improving regulatory and risk frameworks.
