Founded in 2018, The Tax Place offers a range of financial services to its valued clients, such as Bookkeeping, BAS and Tax returns, as well as, ATO and ASIC compliance services.

ABOUT YOU

You will be an experienced (minimum 2 years), skilled Tax Accountant with many superpowers and a strong desire to help your clients! You will pride yourself on your attention to detail and accuracy, as well as your ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure during busy times.

You will be a logical thinker, and a reliable, dependable team player. You will also enjoy the opportunity to work independently and, at times, with minimal supervision.

You are great with technology and proficient at using the Microsoft Office suite of products. You are an excellent communicator, with a friendly and professional phone manner, as well as great writing skills.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, including taxation units.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Masters Degree in Accounting
CPA, CA, IPA

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your main duties in this role will be:

• Preparation of Individual, Company, SMSF and Trust Tax returns and financial statements
• ATO compliance - liaise with ATO when required.
• ASIC agent services
• Additional when required-BAS, IAS, TPAR, SGC, FBT returns.
