We are looking for a motivated individual to work one day per week in a small accounting firm located in coastal Northern NSW.

Responsibilities:

• Entering data using XERO online accounting software.
• Preparing draft BAS, IAS, Financial Statements (including Depreciation schedules), Income Tax Returns, and ATO applications (ABN, TFN, GST, PAYG) for accountant review.
• Maintaining accurate records, including detailed file notes and action plans.
• General bookkeeping duties.
• General administrative duties.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Currently studying accounting/commerce/taxation.
• Excellent IT skills including Xero, Word, Excel.
• Process orientated with a professional attitude.
• High level of written and verbal communication skills.
• Enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
• Ability to manage daily workflow.
