About the Role:
In this role, you will play a key part in the delivery of strategic and policy projects, including conducting thorough research and analysis, developing strategic recommendations, and preparing high-level government documentation. You'll have the opportunity to work with diverse stakeholders at federal, state, and local government levels and provide clear, evidence-based advice that will directly influence passenger transport policy and strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct policy research and analysis to develop solutions and recommendations for passenger transport services.
• Prepare official government documentation including reports, briefing notes, cabinet submissions, and correspondence.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective consultation and collaboration.
• Provide evidence-based, strategic advice to support policy decision-making.

To be successful in this position, you will need to demonstrate the following:
• Proven ability to gather, analyse, and interpret data from diverse sources to produce clear and well-organised policy documents.
• Expertise in offering well-informed advice on strategic policy matters.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain long-term professional relationships.
• Outstanding written communication and editing abilities, with keen attention to detail.
