Experienced Fish & Chips Staff wanted

We are seeking skilled and enthusiastic Cooks to join our team at Boka Bites a new fish and chips shop in Bokarina, Queensland. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in setting up the kitchen, costing and creating the menu, preparing and presenting delicious meals for our customers. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to create your mark and contribute to the success of our new business.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and cooking a variety of menu items to the highest standards
• Ensuring consistent quality and presentation of all dishes
• Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations
• Collaborating with the kitchen team to optimise workflow and efficiency
• Inventory management and ordering of kitchen supplies
• Maintaining a clean and organised restaurant

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Cook or in a similar culinary role of 2 + years
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
• Excellent time management and multitasking skills
• Ability to work well in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment
• Passion for creating high-quality, delicious dishes
• Food safety minded
• Looking to start Mid March
• Availability to work a rotating roster, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays

What we offer
From $70,000 depending on experience
