Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cook specializing in Jbeil Cuisine to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of traditional Jbeil dishes, ingredients, and cooking techniques. The Cook will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, maintaining food safety standards, and contributing to an efficient and well-organized kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, cook, and present authentic Jbeil dishes following traditional recipes and restaurant standards.
• Ensure food quality, freshness, and presentation meet the restaurant’s high standards.
• Monitor kitchen stock and assist with inventory control to minimize waste.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist in developing new menu items and seasonal specialties.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team and communicate effectively to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Adhere to portion control, minimize food waste, and ensure cost-effectiveness in food preparation.
• Follow proper storage and labeling procedures for food items.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Management.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Cook specializing in Jbeil or Lebanese cuisine.
• Knowledge of traditional Jbeil recipes, spices, and cooking techniques.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high food quality.
• Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen best practices.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Culinary certification or relevant training is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Capability to lift and carry heavy pots, pans, and kitchen equipment when needed.
