Adecco is thrilled to be partnering with an innovative company specialising in real-time water quality monitoring solutions.

About Us

Our client is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our clients team specialising in the assembly, inspection and testing of water measurement equipment. This role involves precise electrical and mechanical assembly, ensuring high-quality products that meet our stringent standards.

Responsibilities

Overall, the key areas of responsibility include (but are not limited to):

• Assemble components, sub-assemblies and final products following standardised work instructions and process control systems.

• Conduct mechanical and electrical testing, visual inspections and qualification of components and assemblies.

• Prepare final products for shipment, including packaging and documentation.

• Pick and organise materials for assembly kits, ensuring accurate material movement records.

• Participate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis workshops, proposing and implementing solutions for production issues.

• Perform hand soldering of through-hole, wiring, and SMT components.

• Maintain a clean, organized workspace in adherence to 5S standards.

• Ensure strict compliance with company policies, Quality Management Systems and safety protocols.

• Provide progress reports and highlight issues affecting production or quality to management.

• Support engineers and technicians on technical projects as directed.

Your Profile

To be considered for this role you will have:

• 5 years of experience in assembly and system testing (preferred).

• Hands-on experience with electromechanical or water measurement products (desirable).

• Familiarity with analogue and digital assembly of microprocessor-based products.

• Exposure to ISO 9001 quality systems and supplier management.

• Experience with electronics development and environmental validation tests is a bonus.

• Strong communication abilities and teamwork skills.

• Excellent manual ability and attention to detail.

• Ability to work efficiently within time and budget constraints.
